Griffin Primary School Partnership

Recently, as part of our partnership with Griffin Primary School, we invited the school to get involved with a range of activities. 

We were able to welcome year 3 students to the stadium for a morning where they were able to watch training before a meet and greet with the players. Following this the children took part in a multi-sports session on the back pitch coached by Hull KR Foundation staff, before then eating lunch in Craven Streat and finally taking part in a stadium tour. 

In addition to this, year 6 children were asked to draw the 1st team squad with the winners given a ticket for the recent Super League fixture with London Broncos. Before the game, the winners were invited to training the day before when they presented the players with the drawings. The drawings were then used on the big screen as part of the starting team announcement pre-game.
